The First 48 Presents: Homicide Squad Atlanta

This January, A&E Network continues to expand its award-winning justice programming slate with two riveting series. An extension of one of A&E's most coveted brands, "The First 48 Presents: Homicide Squad Atlanta" follows homicide detectives from the Atlanta Police Department as they unravel the mysteries behind some of the city's most gruesome and highly visible crimes. The series premieres Thursday, January 10 at 9:00 pm (ET) and will include the in-depth investigation of the "Fallen Angel" case and additional cases the detectives work to close.

60 Days In

viewers will see the other side of the system in a new season of the explosive non-fiction series, "60 Days In" premiering Thursday, January 3 at 10:00 pm (ET). This season has new stakes, new twists and seven innocent participants including one "lone wolf" who shakes up the program.

Best Christmas Ever

Ho, ho, whoa: In a move worthy of Saul Goodman (and the Grinch), AMC has stolen away broadcast rights to a trio of holiday classics closely associated with rival Freeform’s decades-old 25 Days of Christmas programming stunt. Starting in November, three Warner Bros.–distributed titles — Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and The Polar Express — will air exclusively on the network of The Walking Dead. AMC will use the movies, along with more than four dozen other holiday films and specials, to anchor a new, month-long marathon of Yuletide programming it’s dubbing “Best Christmas Ever.” Halloween is a month away, but the war for Christmas viewers has already started.

BBC America’s five-part co-production Dynasties will premiere Saturday, January 19, at 9:00 pm (ET) as an AMC Networks simulcast event across BBC America, AMC, IFC and SundanceTV. Presented by Sir David Attenborough (Blue Planet II, Planet Earth II), Dynasties follows five of the world’s most celebrated but endangered animals, as they do whatever it takes to survive and protect the next generation.

The Walking Dead / Ride with Norman Reedus

The second half of season nine of AMC’s The Walking Dead premieres Sunday, February 10, at 9:00 pm (ET). Ride with Norman Reedus returns for a third season the same evening at midnight.
