President, Comcast Cable Advertising
Marcien Jenckes serves as President, Advertising for Comcast Cable. In this role, he is responsible for Comcast’s portfolio of advertising assets, positioning Comcast for continued success and even greater levels of growth as the advertising market adapts to new technology and business models.
Previously, Marcien oversaw Comcast Cable’s residential lines of business, which include Xfinity Video, Xfinity Internet, Xfinity Home, and Xfinity Voice, including the strategy, development, and deployment of innovative technologies and services across all categories to provide a great entertainment and communications experience for tens of millions of customers.
Prior to joining Comcast, Marcien was an entrepreneur, involved with a host of digital advertising and media syndication start-ups including Grab Networks and Voxant. He also held a variety of leadership roles at AOL Inc., where he launched AOL’s free web services, including the free AOL.com portal. Prior to AOL, Marcien worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in their media and telecom practice.
Marcien holds a MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, and a BA in economics and political science from New York University.
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Comcast Spotlight
Hank Oster is senior vice president and chief operating officer of Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable that brings brands and audiences together through the power of premium video and advanced analytics. Hank is responsible for overseeing the daily business operations of the company including sales strategy and execution, product innovation and development, and data and research.
In 2002, Hank joined Comcast Spotlight to lead the development of the organization, including its overall sales strategy and operating structure. He played an integral role in the expansion of Comcast Spotlight’s footprint to more than 37 million households in nearly 80 markets nationwide by forging affiliate relationships with cable, satellite and telecommunications service providers, including Verizon, DIRECTV and DISH Network, to create interconnections. The interconnect business practices established by Comcast Spotlight served as a model for the industry.
Throughout his tenure, Hank implemented a number of strategic business initiatives, positioning Comcast Spotlight at the forefront of the advertising industry. The company introduced groundbreaking video advertising products and services focused on delivering audiences and enhancing customer experience, including ad tag and ad copy, linear addressable, video on demand dynamic ad insertion addressable and a nationally scalable advanced TV analytics offering.
An industry leader, Hank has more than 30 years of broadcast and cable experience. Prior to Comcast Spotlight, he was executive vice president and general manager of Adlink, where he managed the company’s sales and marketing, strategic alliances and Hispanic divisions. Hank also served as vice president, sales and programming for Johnson Broadcasting and vice president and director of sales for KHJ-TV (now KCAL-TV).
Hank sits on the Board of Directors for the Video Advertising Bureau and NCC Media, which is owned by Charter Communications, Comcast Corporation and Cox Communications. He resides in the Los Angeles area with his family.
Chief Financial Officer, Comcast Cable Advertising
William Haase is chief financial officer of Comcast Cable Advertising. In this role, Bill oversees and manages all financial operations and reporting for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, and FreeWheel, a Comcast Company that provides advertising software and solutions for the entire television ecosystem. In addition, he manages strategic partnerships with Canoe and NCC Media, which is owned by Charter Communications, Comcast Corporation and Cox Communications.
Most recently, Bill was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Comcast Spotlight. Since first joining Comcast Spotlight in 2002, he has held a number of finance leadership roles and was integral in the acquisition and integration of a number of advertising businesses, including AT&T Broadband, Adelphia, Strata and Spot Buy Spot.
Prior to Comcast Spotlight, Bill served as financial reporting manager for CDNow, a publicly traded internet retailer, and audit senior and audit staff for Ernst & Young.
Bill received the Cablefax 100 and the Multichannel News 40 Under 40 industry awards. He is the executive sponsor of Comcast Cable’s Finance Diversity and Inclusion Committee and is on Comcast’s Executive Internal Diversity Council. In addition, Bill is a Methacton Baseball Association board member and recently served as treasurer for the Ronald A. Rehling Memorial Fund, a nonprofit that supports leukemia research at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Bill is a certified public accountant. He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Business Administration.

Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Comcast Cable Advertising
Sandy Gunn is senior vice president, human resources for Comcast Cable Advertising. He is responsible for the people strategy of Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, and FreeWheel, a Comcast Company that provides advertising software and solutions for the entire television ecosystem. This includes developing and implementing programs and initiatives that attract, grow and retain the right talent to drive the business into the next decade.
In 2008, Sandy joined Comcast Corporation as chief people officer for Comcast Interactive Media. He also served as senior vice president, human resources for Comcast Cable, and most recently, as senior vice president, human resources for Comcast Spotlight.
With more than 35 years of experience, Sandy has an extensive background in talent acquisition, leadership development, compensation and benefits, and organizational effectiveness with a successful track record of developing high-performing teams and people at all organizational levels.
Prior to Comcast, Sandy built his human resources career by supporting businesses around the world for leading companies such as Vonage, EMI Music, Vivendi Universal and Schlumberger, Ltd.
Sandy graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce in finance and marketing and a Bachelor of Administration. He resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife.
Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, Comcast Cable Advertising
Maria Weaver is senior vice president, global marketing for Comcast Cable Advertising. Maria is responsible for all facets of marketing for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, and FreeWheel, a Comcast Company that provides advertising software and solutions for the entire television ecosystem. This includes brand, creative services, product marketing, sales marketing and demand generation.
In 2016, Maria joined Comcast Spotlight as senior vice president, marketing and played a key role in redefining the Comcast Spotlight brand and elevating its awareness to help differentiate the company and increase revenue. She also led the development of an award-winning advertising campaign and built a strong marketing organization to support the evolving needs of the business and the industry.
Maria has more than 30 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry. Prior to Comcast Spotlight, Maria held a number of senior marketing roles at Interactive One, the digital division of Urban One (formerly Radio One), including senior vice president, head of national sales and marketing. In addition, Maria was principal for Triple Threat Films and senior director, brand marketing and subscriber acquisition and director, creative services and marketing for Home Box Office. Maria was also senior project leader of The Red Group for Showtime, and she began her advertising career with Rainbow Advertising Sales, a division of Cablevision.
Maria received the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications Award of Excellence for African American brand advertising campaign, the 2015 Council of Urban Professionals Catalyst Award and multiple honors from The Telly Awards and the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing. She serves on the board of Figure Skating in Harlem and the International Radio and Television Society.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications and media studies from Pace University and a Master of Professional Studies from Pratt Institute. She resides with her family in the New York area.
Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales, Comcast Spotlight
Teresa Lucido is senior vice president, advertising sales for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. She is responsible for the overall sales strategy and sales execution of the company’s video product suite in 31 designated market areas including New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Boston and Detroit.
Teresa has more than 30 years of media experience spanning print, agency, radio, television and digital. She joined Comcast Spotlight in 2006 and held successive leadership positions in the company’s Michigan markets including vice president and general manager. Before moving to her current role in 2017, Teresa was divisional senior vice president.
Prior to joining Comcast Spotlight, Teresa spent nearly 18 years with the Detroit Media Partnership, formerly the Detroit Newspaper Agency and The Detroit News, where she held several sales and marketing management positions, including vice president, advertising sales.
A leader in the media industry, Teresa was named by Cablefax to the 2018 Sales Hall of Fame as well as the Most Powerful Women in Cable for the past three years. She was also recognized as one of the newspaper industry’s Top 20 under 40 by Press Time Magazine.
Teresa serves as an executive sponsor of Comcast Spotlight’s Inclusion Committee, volunteers with the Michigan Business and Professional Association and is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). Previously, she was a board member of the New York Interconnect.
In addition, Teresa received a national philanthropic award for her volunteer work with Detroit’s St. John Hospital & Medical Center. She also serves as a trustee for Sparky Anderson’s CATCH Charity for Children benefitting Children's Hospital of Michigan and Henry Ford Hospital.
Teresa earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Michigan State University. She is a graduate of the WICT Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania’s Executive Leadership Program and the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Leadership Detroit Program.

Senior Vice President, Technology and Operations, Comcast Spotlight
Travis Parrill is senior vice president, technology and operations for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. He is responsible for the enterprise technology and operations organization including product architecture, engineering, quality control, traffic, technology and solutions, project management organization, operational intelligence and campaign management.
In this role, Travis leads the technical architecture vision across television and digital advertising products, partnering with the Comcast Spotlight Platform Engineering Group, FreeWheel and a variety of technology vendors to help marketers identify clients and reach audiences to drive brand awareness to customer attribution. He also oversees the execution of all advertising campaigns and the introduction of new and improved systems and processes to provide an exceptional customer experience, maximize growth and drive efficiencies and profitability.
In 2001, Travis joined Comcast Spotlight, and throughout his tenure, he has led technical, engineering, execution and information systems teams across Comcast Spotlight and Comcast Cable.
Early on, he was instrumental in orchestrating the consolidation of three operations centers to a centralized location in Comcast Spotlight’s former West Division. In 2015, he led the operational integration for all of Comcast Spotlight—bringing together the technology, tools, systems and processes from the previous divisional structure to a single enterprise approach that has delivered significant efficiency to the business and advertisers.
At Comcast Cable, Travis oversaw the engineering efforts for the Denver market and surrounding areas. Under his leadership, the team deployed DOCSIS 3.0 under Comcast’s high-speed data initiative, guided the transition to full digital television and supported numerous back-office transactions and rollouts of channel launches.
Previously, Travis was a systems engineer for Corporate Technologies, a leading provider of managed IT solutions. He also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Mary where he instructed computer information systems.
Travis received Multichannel News’ 40 Under 40 Award and Comcast Spotlight’s National Leadership Award. He holds a number of degrees from the University of Mary including a Bachelor of Applied Science in computer information services, a Bachelor of Applied Science in business administration and a Master of Business Administration.

Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales, Comcast Spotlight
Rick Stanley is senior vice president, advertising sales for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. In this role, Rick is responsible for the overall sales strategy and sales execution of the company’s video product suite in 34 designated market areas including San Francisco, Houston, Atlanta, Seattle, Miami and Denver.
Since joining Comcast Spotlight in 2002, Rick has held a number of sales leadership roles including vice president and general manager of the Seattle market, vice president and general manager of the San Francisco market and divisional senior vice president, before being appointed to his current role in 2016.
Rick has more than 25 years of advertising sales experience, including over a decade with the Viacom Television Stations Group (now Paramount Stations Group). Here, he was director of sales for WBBM-TV, a CBS-owned-and-operated television station in Chicago. He also held both general sales and national sales management positions at KTXA-TV in Dallas and was a local sales manager for WGNT-TV in Norfolk, Va. Prior to the TV industry, Rick spent six years in financial consulting.
Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from The University of Texas at Austin. He resides with his family in the Denver area.
Senior Vice President, Sales Strategy, Comcast Spotlight
John Tierney is senior vice president, sales strategy for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. John is responsible for developing the company’s automotive, media and entertainment, political and sports sales strategies to serve national, regional and local advertisers. He also oversees inventory monetization, sports sales marketing and Comcast Spotlight’s relationship with NCC Media, which is owned by Charter Communications, Comcast Corporation and Cox Communications.
In 2002, John joined Comcast Spotlight as vice president, national advertising sales. He has since held a variety of leadership roles, including most recently, senior vice president, national and regional advertising sales. In this position, John led the company’s sales strategies for automotive, political and tune-in advertising.
At Comcast Spotlight, John has directed a number of company initiatives, including the strategy and deployment of the regional sports network partnership with DIRECTV and DISH. He also partnered with NCC to oversee the interconnect expansion to satellite and telecommunication providers and the development and launch of NCC’s programmatic cable television buying solution. In addition, under his leadership, Comcast Spotlight’s political category has experienced successive growth.
John has more than 30 years of experience in media sales. Prior to Comcast Spotlight, he served in a number of sales positions for ADLINK Technology, Television Program Enterprises, KCAL-TV and Blair Television.
An industry leader, John was inducted into the Cablefax Hall of Fame. He graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Arts in communications. He resides in New Jersey with his family.
Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, Comcast Spotlight
Kathy DeAmicis is vice president, finance and chief financial officer for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. In this role, Kathy oversees all facets of finance for the company.
Kathy joined Comcast Spotlight in 2003, and throughout her tenure, she has brought her expertise to a number of finance leadership roles. Most recently, Kathy was vice president, financial planning and analysis, where she played a critical role in the business unit’s budget, forecast, long-range planning and inventory acquisition efforts.
Prior to Comcast Spotlight, Kathy served as senior manager in the assurance practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers where she serviced clients in various industries. She has nearly 25 years of experience in finance.
Kathy is a recipient of Comcast Spotlight’s President’s Club Spotlight Leadership Award and an executive sponsor for Comcast Spotlight’s Inclusion committee. She is also a graduate of the Comcast Executive Leadership Forum and Comcast Spotlight’s Women in Leadership Program and Leadership Exposure and Development Program.
Kathy earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from The University of Scranton. She resides in in the Philadelphia area with her family.
Vice President, Data Strategy, Comcast Spotlight
Justin Evans is vice president, data strategy for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. In this role, Justin is responsible for enhancing Comcast Spotlight’s analytics and leading data-driven innovation for the company’s national, regional and local advertising business across linear, digital and video on demand.
Justin has extensive experience in monetizing data in marketing and media, including a track record of leading growth at companies focused on data, advertising and social media. Prior to joining Comcast Spotlight in 2015, he held a number of leadership roles at Collective, an advertising technology company, including executive vice president, enterprise and chief strategy officer. He led Collective’s data acquisition and research teams, managed the launch of its mobile display business and oversaw the growth of its video business. Justin also launched TV Accelerator, a groundbreaking television-to-digital targeting capability using set-top-box data, for which he was granted a patent.
In addition, Justin was senior vice president, advertising solutions and vice president, corporate development at The Nielsen Company. He was a key member of the team that sold Nielsen (then VNU) to private equity, launched Nielsen’s online advertising targeting business and created Nielsen’s Reach, Resonance, Reaction framework for advertising effectiveness measurement. Justin also served as manager, business development for The New York Times’ marketing and advertising group.
A pioneer in data-driven multiscreen advertising, Justin has published research studies and white papers and served as a guest lecturer at the University of Southern California Annenberg Media, Economics and Entrepreneurship program.
Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Columbia University in the City of New York and a Master of Business Administration from New York University. He lives in the New York area with his family.
Vice President, Video Strategy, Comcast Spotlight
Michael Miller is vice president, video strategy for Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. Michael leads the company’s cross-platform video strategy, which includes inventory acquisition, yield management and maximizing monetization for linear, digital and video on demand. In addition, he oversees Comcast Spotlight’s affiliate strategy and partners with key external and internal stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities.
In 2005, Michael joined Comcast Spotlight as director, operations for the Michigan region. He later served as Midwest division director of emerging technologies, Northcentral division executive director of advanced media, Northcentral division vice president of interactive media and corporate vice president of interactive media. Most recently, Mike was vice president, video sales strategy, as well as vice president, interactive, where he was instrumental in transforming the interactive business into a significant growth driver of Comcast Spotlight.
Prior to Comcast Spotlight, Michael co-owned Behco, Inc., an industrial automation distributor. As executive vice president, operations and sales, he automated operations and implemented strategies that increased sales 250 percent while doubling the employment base. In addition, Michael held leadership positions with CSC Index and Texas Instruments, Inc.
Michael serves on the Board of Directors for Fluid Air Controls, the manufacturer of Flairline and Hydronic products, and the Advisory Board of the Stratford-Cambridge Group, a Michigan-based buyout and private equity firm. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Behco, Inc. and Hydronic Corporation, a manufacturer of hydraulic components.
Michael received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University. He is also a graduate of Comcast’s Executive Leadership Forum.
