Giving Back

Backpacks for a Bright Future

Comcast Spotlight is committed to improving its communities and making a positive impact in the markets it serves. For the 16 million kids who come from families struggling with extreme poverty, school supplies can make all the difference in the world to their future success. The kids helped today may be future leaders of tomorrow.

Ensuring Every Child Is Prepared

Comcast Spotlight teamed up with Kids In Need Foundation that works to ensure every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom by providing free school supplies to students most in need. Giving back to the communities it serves is part of the company’s DNA.

In 2018, five backpack building events were held in Comcast Spotlight’s offices in New York, New York, Englewood, Colorado; Bethesda, Maryland; Quincy, Massachusetts; and Sacramento, California. There, employees and invited friends, family and colleagues came together to fill the backpacks with school supplies.
