All kids should have access to a bright future, and for kids living in poverty, proper school supplies can make all the difference. That’s why Comcast Spotlight is supporting the Kids in Need Foundation to provide backpacks and supplies to disadvantaged children.
Over the past several months, Comcast Spotlight employees have participated in backpack building events across the U.S. To date, we’ve filled 2,600 backpacks with school supplies and information on Comcast’s Internet Essentials Program for kids headed back to school this year. We accomplished this across five events in Spotlight offices in New York, New York; Englewood, Colorado; Bethesda, Maryland; Quincy, Massachusetts; and Sacramento, California.
Now through September, employees will personally deliver the backpacks to schools in the most underprivileged communities. Follow along on social media as we visit each school!
