River Monsters

Animal Planet’s number one series, River Monsters, winds up season seven with two-hour special River Monsters: Jurassic-Sized Prehistoric Terror on Monday, May 25 at 8:00p. Net promises super-sized piranhas, fanged swamp sharks and a “buzz-saw” killer.

The Last Alaskans

Animal Planet promises an immersive experience “unlike any docu-series before,” with eight-part “special documentary event” The Last Alaskans. Centered on the final four families left standing in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, which prohibits new human occupation, Alaskans premieres on Monday, May 25 at 10:00p, followed by new eps Sundays at 8p.

Treetop Cat Rescue

Animal Planet’s Treetop Cat Rescue (just what it sounds like) premieres with back-to-back episodes Saturday, May 30 at 9:00p and 9:30p. Trapped kitties include one that has no interest in being rescued.

Finding Bigfoot

Three best friends are determined to make the most out of their middle school years using an ever-expanding list of challenges as their guide in Nickelodeon’s newest live-action series, 100 Things to Do Before High School, debuting Saturday, June 6, at 8:00p. The 26-episode series will air regularly on Saturdays at 8:00 pm (ET), with each episode available on Nick.com, the Nick App and Nick On Demand one day following its linear TV premiere. 100 Things to Do Before High School follows the comedic adventures of 12-year old CJ Martin, played by Isabela Moner, who always dreamed that high school would be the greatest years of her life—until her older brother warns her that life after middle school is not quite the teenage dream.

Cheating men learn their lesson the hard way in Oxygen series Player Gets Played, launching Wednesday, June 10 at 9:30p. Each episode follows women who band together after discovering their boyfriends have been unfaithful.

 

 

TUT

Spike has set the premiere date for TUT, their 3-night historical drama mini-series. It will debut July 19 at 9:00p and air three consecutive nights. Boasting a cast that stars Sir Ben Kingsley and rising Hollywood actor Avan Jogia, TUT reveals the turmoil, power struggles, political backstabbing, war and murder that existed during King Tut's reign over ancient Egypt. The three-part mini-series was shot in the deserts of Morocco and accurately portrays the real-life drama of the youngest Pharaoh to rule as the King of Egypt. For the first time on television, TUT will eloquently open up a fascinating window of an authentic story for the ages.

Runaway Island

Lorraine Toussaint, Thomas Q. Jones and Aisha Hinds are the headline cast members for TV One's original movie Runaway Island. Written by Christopher Brandt, the 2014 American Black Film Festival screenplay competition winner, Runaway Island offers viewers a unique story about a group of troubled strangers looking to escape their woes and end up sharing a transformational experience on an island steeped in African American heritage and culture. The film is slated to premiere Saturday, July 25, at 8:00p.

 

 

WWE Tough Enough
