ABC Family is headed to Budapest and London this week for production on new thriller series Guilt. The drama is about a young American woman in London who becomes the prime suspect in the savage murder of her roommate is written, created and exec-produced by Kathryn Price and Nichole Millard (both of The Game Plan); Stephen McPherson will serve as an executive producer. Cast includes Katrina Law (Arrow), Daisy Head (The Syndicate) and Billy Zane (Titanic).

Odd Mom Out

Bravo Media has greenlit a second season of its first scripted series, Odd Mom Out, starring Jill Kargman, Abby Elliott, Andy Buckley, KK Glick, Sean Kleier and Joanna Cassidy. The half-hour comedy is created by and stars Kargman playing a satirical version of herself as she navigates the treacherous and elite eco-system of New York’s Upper East Side, and the uber-wealthy mommy clique inhabiting this fantastically outrageous domain. Odd Mom Out recently wrapped its first 10 episode season on August 3.

Real Housewives of New York City

It takes three episodes to wrap up season seven of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City. Cartoon Network's full length feature, Regular Show: The Movie, will bow via electronic sell-through and on DVD before its network premiere. The 70-minute animated feature will be available for digital download on September 1st on platforms including iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox, Playstation, VUDU and others. It makes its DVD debut on October 13.

The Half Hour

Comedy Central is bringing back stand-up series The Half Hour for a fourth season on Saturday, August 22nd at midnight and 12:30am. Filmed at The Royale in Boston, the new season will feature sets from Liza Treyger, Hampton Yount, Tone Bell, Michelle Buteau, Sean Donnelly and others.

 

9/11: The Lost Hero

While the world watched in disbelief as the Twin Towers fell on September 11, 2001, two police officers became trapped 30 feet beneath the rubble, too deep for their cries of help to be heard. The rescue of officers Will Jimeno and John McLoughlin seemed impossible, but what happened next was nothing short of miraculous. Those on site claim a mysterious soldier appeared out of nowhere and conducted one of the most incredible rescue missions of 9/11 before vanishing without a trace. The officers tried desperately to find the hero who saved their lives, but it wasn’t until five years later when Hollywood made a movie about the unidentified soldier that the world finally came to learn Jason Thomas’ name. In the exclusive U.S. premiere of 9/11: The Lost Hero on Tuesday, September 8th, at 10:00 pm on Destination America, Thomas emerges from anonymity to tell the whole, true story of this amazing rescue.

Maryland/North Carolina at 9:30p on Dec. 1

2015 World Series of Poker

The 2015 World Series of Poker returns to ESPN this month with coverage across ESPN and ESPN2. The 2015 schedule begins with the $1 million WSOP National Championship tournament on Tuesday, Aug.18, at 9p on ESPN2. Lead commentator Lon McEachern and analyst Norman Chad return to call the action, along with roving reporter Kara Scott.

College Football Playoff: Top 25

ESPN is bringing back College Football Playoff: Top 25 for its sophomore season, announcing that the weekly reveal of CFP rankings will return on October 20th at 7:30pm as one of a pair of preview shows leading into the posting of the first rankings of the season on Nov. 3. Rece Davis hosts with analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Joey Galloway, Danny Kannell and David Pollack on seven consecutive Tuesdays through Dec. 1. A final four-hour program revealing the Playoff Semifinals pairings, the remaining New Year’s Six bowl pairings, and Top 25 rankings will then air on Selection Day, Sunday, Dec., 6 at noon.

Sunday Night Baseball

ESPN locked in three new matchups for Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell in September.
Sept. 6, the Cardinals host the Pirates.
Sept.13 will see Royals/Orioles
Sept. 20 will pit Yankees/Mets.
The season finale of Sunday Night Baseball on Sept. 27, will be selected in the coming weeks.

 

Spotless

Described as “a true genre-bending dark drama,” scripted Spotless will debut on Esquire in November. The 10-parter stars Marc-Andre Grondin (C.R.A.Z.Y.), Denis Menochet (Inglorious Basterds), Miranda Raison (24: Live Another Day) and Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey).

 

The Bastard Executioner

Kurt Sutter knows how to grab attention. “Nothing wrong with colorful brutality,” he joked at TCA. The Sons of Anarchy creator said his new show, The Bastard Executioner, will also contain violence, albeit with ramifications. “It’s a medieval setting, and their laws, in terms of punishment, were brutal and heinous, so that’s a reality of the world.” Executioner launches Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00pm on FX.

 

Steampunk’d

Retro-futuristic design competition Steampunk’d launches Wednesday, August 19th at 10:00pm on GSN, moving to its regular 9p slot the following week. Grand prize: $100,000.

 

Good Witch

Hallmark Channel’s Good Witch, just starting production in Toronto, will air a two-hour, sneak preview season two premiere in October. The series, launched in February, was the top primetime drama Saturday nights at 8:00pm.

 

The Jacksons: Next Generation

The Jacksons: Next Generation debuts Friday, October 2nd at 8:00pm, focusing on a new generation of the music clan. Tito’s sons, Taj, Taryll and TJ, known as music group 3T, work to balance family and career on the Lifetime docu-series.

 

MTV VMA Red Carpet

Kelly Osbourne will host the 2015 MTV VMA Red Carpet live pre-show, alongside MTV’s Sway and Girl Code Live stars Carly Aquilino, Nessa Diab and Nora "Awkwafina" Lum, on Sunday, August 30th at 8:00pm. The special leads into the VMAs at 9p. Nick Jonas is set to turn up the party with a performance of his new song, Levels, while Walk the Moon kicks off the pre-show with their can’t-miss-it-this-summer hit, Shut Up and Dance.

Never gets old: The Fairly OddParents landed a 13-episode season 10 on Nickelodeon. It’s the kids net’s third longest running animated series, after SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer.

 

Crazy Talk

Oxygen premieres syndicated comedic talk show Crazy Talk exclusively on cable beginning Monday, September 14th at 7:00pm and 7:30pm. Tanisha Thomas (Bad Girls Club) and Ben Aaron (New York Live) dish viral TV clips on the series from NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution.

 

Childhood’s End

Childhood’s End, the first-ever adaptation of the Arthur C. Clarke novels, premieres on Syfy over three consecutive nights starting Monday, December 14th at 8:00pm. Story follows the invasion of Earth by not-to-be-trusted aliens. The net’s ambitious space thriller, The Expanse, also takes off December 14th, premiering at 10:00pm before taking up its regular Tuesday-at-10p slot the next night.

Haven

Haven will end its run on Syfy after the conclusion of its fifth season, picking up Thursday, October 8th at 10:00pm. The supernatural drama, based on a Stephen King novella, had been averaging 1.1 million A24-54 and 2.3 million viewers.

 

Harvest

Spike has greenlit its first dramatic scripted series in nine years, partnering with Jerry Bruckheimer and Warner Horizon Television. Harvest centers on a dedicated father working two jobs to support his teenage daughter. The 10-episode series goes into production this fall for a 2016 debut.

 

Busby family

TLC has started production on a docu-series following the Busby family, a clan that includes the only all-female set of quintuplets born in the U.S. Untitled seven-episode series from The Boardwalk Entertainment Group is slated to premiere in Spring 2016.

Big Kenny and Family

The half hour single camera serialized comedy has a 12 episode order and will premiere in 2016. The comedy, revolving around America’s most successful Hispanic American comedian, explores how Lopez struggles between his two worlds and crises— often of his own making.
